Autonomous Systems: THE NEXT BIG THING
The NCAS is back!
Following the resounding success of the first edition, the National Congress on Autonomous Systems will return on April 2, 2026, as the stage for The Next Big Thing: Autonomous Systems.
The use of (more) autonomous systems is the fastest path to higher productivity, greater profitability, and addressing more complex societal challenges, and thus represents the innovation challenge for the technology industry.
With NCAS’26, we aim to inspire both users (service providers, process owners) and technology providers to embrace autonomous (or more autonomous) systems and position the Netherlands as a leader in the emerging Autonomy Economy.
What can you expect?
- Focus on technology, solutions, and business models. That’s why we’re giving the floor primarily to CTOs.
- The key challenge: implementing autonomous processes in increasingly dynamic environments. What IT/OT technologies should we use to achieve this?
- Best practices from leading technology providers, successful users, and leading scientists.
- Examples from manufacturing, distribution, the physical environment, agriculture, defense, medical technology, etc.
- Three tracks: Business, Science & Live Demos, plus a demo area featuring inspiring examples and explanations from their developers.
- Triple-A lineup: NVIDIA (AI for Autonomy) / AIRBUS (Defense) / KUKA (Materials Handling) / Volkswagen (Autonomous Driving, subject to change) / Picnic (retail) & Apollo (logistics) / Fizyr (robot vision) & Pallet Sorting Systems (handling) / TenneT (critical infrastructure) / UMCG (medtech) / Wallenberg AI (Theory of Autonomy) and many others
