AI-Matters brings together a consortium of 24 organizations from 8 European countries (the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain) to create a leading network of test and experiment facilities (TEF) for the (high-tech) manufacturing industry, and promote the application of AI in the European manufacturing industry.
The overarching goal of AI-Matters is to strengthen Europe’s position and leadership in the adoption of Artificial Intelligence.
By applying robotics and other advanced technologies at scale in real-world environments, the consortium aims to revolutionize the EU’s manufacturing industry.
The network is co-funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe program and is also supported at the national/regional level, with a total budget of €60 million.
AI-Matters offers more than 250 testing and experimentation services to technology providers, system integrators and manufacturing companies.
The services are divided into 4 challenges: circular economy, factory-level optimization, human-robot interaction and other emerging technologies.
